Katie Tolley, BSc (Hons.)
Master of Public Health Student
Katie is a proud Métis citizen from Prince Albert, Saskatchewan, currently living in Saskatoon on Treaty 6 territory. She completed her Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Anatomy and Cell Biology in 2022 at the University of Saskatchewan and is now pursuing her Master of Public Health. Katie has been working at Métis Nation-Saskatchewan's Ministry of Health for approximately one year, where she has worked on several successful health promotion initiatives and served as Immunization Promotion Coordinator and later Health Promotion Coordinator. Katie is passionate about promoting health equity, with a special interest in Indigenous health and decolonizing research methods. In the future, she hopes to continue advancing health promotion efforts in Indigenous communities and beyond.
